Melissa L. Isaak was born and raised in Bismarck, ND. She moved to Alabama in 1998 as an active duty soldier in the United States Army. While on active duty, Melissa obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree as well as a Masters Degree in Psychology. After receiving an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, she enlisted as a member of the Alabama National Guard. Melissa also worked as a child and adolescent therapist, working with children who suffered from mental illness as well as children who were suffering due to poor decisions made by their parents.Masters Degree in Criminal justice, she worked as an adjunct professor of Psychology and Criminal Justice teaching courses in Human Growth and Development,General Psychology, Statistics and Juvenile Delinquency.
She also became a published author while working as a contract research assistant for the United States Army. This was all prior to going to law school. During law school, Melissa was a member of the law review and worked in the child and family clinic pursuing her passion for family law. After law school Melissa opened her own practice and has successfully represented men in family law matters, growing her practice to serve men in need across Alabama. Melissa was awarded a direct commission in the Alabama Army National Guard and serves as a lawyer in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corp. Her passion for equality for men in family court as well as for military members and veterans issues is unparalleled and the success of her and her firm is a testament to that commitment.
Tim Martin was born in Hattiesburg, Ms. He grew up in a home where his parents were in full-time Christian ministry for 45 years. Dr. Tim Martin is the Executive Director of Coaching for Life and Leadership at the Isaak Law Firm and Isaak Life Firm. He is a passionate leader that has owned, developed and managed both companies and non-profit organizations. Tim has extensive experience in leadership, management, strategy development and creative communication. Prior to joining the Isaak Firm he led, coached and spoke to thousands of people as a life coach, entrepreneur, professional leader, motivator and ordained pastor for over 27 years. Tim has an extensive background in understanding the difficult demands and needs of people, leaders, organizations and companies, how to help them develop personal and corporate strategies and solutions, in order to bring about change. Whether it be in life or leadership, he is known for the creative and motivating approach he uses in coaching, teaching, team building and training with individuals, students, teams and groups.
He has three earned degrees including, a Doctorate degree; while having several certifications in life coaching, solution-focused coaching, transformation coaching, executive/leadership coaching and relationship coaching. Tim is a professor in both Doctoral and Undergrad programs. His love is his faith, family (three children: Olivia, Jake and Mackenzie and his grandson Aiden) and friends.
